The Southern Indiana Draft Horse and Mule Association has always held a wagon ride each Fall. This years ride was 4 days long and started on October 1st. The ride was hosted by "Crash" Wheatley and his wife on their farm in Perry County, Indiana. The rides were held over 4 days traversing the various country roads around Perry County. We had a total of 6 to 8 wagons each day with participants from as far away as Minnesota and Wisconsin. The weather was excellent over the entire period with blue skies and temperatures in the low to mid 80's during the day and dipping into the 60's at night. Breakfast and supper were provided each day with various club members taking responsibility for providing the menu and preparing the food for one meal.
